Monterio grew up locally, in the upstate, and loved to participate in the arts programs while in school. He was president of the poetry club and later got involved in acting. He has two dogs, Chopper and Leafy. Chopper is a goofy, loveable pit and Leafy is a mutt that loves car rides.

Monterio has been practicing massage for four years. Growing up, he loved caring for and helping people, so massage therapy was a natural bridge to pursue that passion.

Fun Facts:
He love acting, and has participated in several plays. One of his favorite roles was as a talking clock in, “Mama Died, so Who’s Cooking.”
Favorite food is Thai - extra spicy!
Favorite vacation spot is Islamorada, in the Florida Keys.

Meet Monterio,

Lyndy is a native to Pickens County. She received her undergrad at Southern Wesleyan University before attending Carolina School of Massage. She has a background in nonprofit work & fundraising and is actively involved with multiple nonprofits in Pickens County. Lyndy became a massage therapist because massage has been a part of her own journey towards physical and mental healing, and she loves to provide her clients with same tools and space to heal, too. In her free time, you can probably catch her wrangling her toddler on the Doodle, listening to a true crime podcast, or working on a hand-embroidery project!

Lyndy is certified in Prenatal Massage through the Institute of Somatic Therapy. She has also received training in Therapeutic Massage, Deep Tissue Massage, and Trigger Point Therapy.

Fun Facts:

She’s an Enneagram 9 (just like Zooey Deschanel, Mister Rogers, and Walt Disney, by the way!)
If it’s true that you are what you eat, then Lyndy is basically a waffle fry drenched in an absurd amount of Chick-fil-a sauce!

Meet Lyndy,
our Massage Therapist.

I grew up in Easley, when it was still considered a "small town". Wow... things have changed! After graduating from Clemson, I decided to stay in the upstate and used my degree working in local small businesses. Healthcare wasn't in my original plans, but it was on my radar. My mom is a nurse, so I have always been very  familiar with traditional western medicine. After meeting my best friend & future wife, Heather, we agreed that a big change was on the horizon! My interest in holistic wellness was growing, and I started dreaming of career in healthcare that moved away from the "pop a pill & cut it out" model. Chiropractic aligned perfectly with that dream! I'm a bit of an overachiever, by nature, so I decided to load up on science courses, and start the move to Sherman College of Chiropractic. I'm proud to say that I graduated in the top of my class and met an incredible network of friends from all over the globe! Heather and I decided to open our own practice in Easley, to be close to family. The vibrancy of downtown Easley grows every day, and we are SO happy to be a part of it. I truly believe that fostering the habits that keep us healthy is so much more powerful than reacting to what makes us ill.
